Rather being branded as a Carpenter, I consider my trade a craftsman. With early beginnings starting in a surfboard factory where I learned a strong emphasis accuracy, quality, finishing & timing. Transferring that inspiration into my carpentry 10 years on, I strive to work to the same principles of providing value to my customers, giving an unforgettable experience along the journey and delivering on time. BATHROOM RENOVATIONS
This bathroom was a complete strip out down to the floor bearers. We built it back up from the bottom up. Needless to say it came out BEAUTIFUL!
BARN DOOR SLIDERS
This custom piece was made using pine slats. The dimensions were 2.1m high X 1.6m wide. Hung on a matte black rail with beefy rollers and handle finished off this door perfectly!!
CUSTOM PIECES
I really enjoyed making this custom piece for a couple looking for a warm house for their birds as well as a feature in their home. Built using merbau slats and dowels with stainless fixings this was a unique piece to say the least! It was a added bonus that the gaps looked like rays when the Lamp was switched on!
TERMITE DAMAGED AREAS
Queensland housing often suffers from the brunt of termites. 2/3 of this master bedroom was riddled with termite damage. We successfully reframed, replastered and repainted it back to its original form.
VERANDA SWING DOORS
This idea became a concept into how to close or open the existing living space. There was some skepticism as to if it would work, But I now have a new found respect for struts and their engineering! the swing door weighs in at approximately 90kg taking 1100nm of pressure to lift and keep the frame up. Very interesting and alot of fun to build!
